Cabinet okays Indo-German pact on healthcare

TOG News Service, New Delhi, July 12, 2017: A Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) was signed on June 1, 2017 which covered the areas of cooperation for postgraduate education, training of medical personnel, health economics, pharmaceuticals and pharmacoeconomics.

The Union Cabinet has given its ex-post facto approval for signing a Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) between India and Germany on cooperation in the field of Health. A Working Group will be set up to further elaborate the details of cooperation and to oversee the implementation of this JDI.
